(Paul Raven R.I.P.)
Killing Joke’s bassist Paul Raven has died unexpectedly while recording in Geneva. The Wolverhampton-born musician apparently passed away after a recording session
with band Treponem. Raven started his career in The Neon Hearts and Kitsch before his most successful spell as bassist with Kiling Joke, though he also worked with the likes of Ministry, Godflesh, Prong, Pigface, Murder Inc and Amen.
Raven, who was born in 1961, had been recording with the band Treponem in the Swiss city when he passed away unexpectedly after going to bed.
Though a member of Killing Joke, he had also worked with the likes of Ministry, Godflesh, Prong, Pigface, Murder Inc and Amen, plus punk bands The Neon Hearts and then Kitsch, with whom he began his career.
