Juno! and Manda Rin

Athletic support (Fife's finest team up with Manda Rin)

Amanda (aka Manda Rin, formerly of bis/Datapanik)Exclusive! Dunfermline band Juno! have persuaded their pal Amanda McKinnon (aka Manda Rin out of bis) to contribute vocals to a new track, ‘These Boys Are Athletes’. The 2 bands have shared bills in the past, most notably (for us anyway) at itm? nights in Dunfermline. And, the band have agreed to let isthismusic.com premiere it here, just for you, dear reader.

Juno! have been picking up rave reviews of late:

Juno!, Dunfermline's finest“Their records always sound terrific”. Pinups Club, Glasgow.

“What a result! Juno! Are one of the best unsigned bands I have ever heard” Rick Fulton, Daily Record

“There’s something about Juno! that’s pure holiday, and Juno! are a cute band” Tartan Underground

“Well endowed musically, Juno’s noir pop is a musical feast.” The Big Issue

” electro/rave pop 6 piece… a smattering of baggy and post rock too…laconic cool pop with more hooks than the a fishing tackle shop being run by Peter Hook and the bloke out of Dr Hook… New Order/Go Team/Orange Juice/Happy Mondays/Can/ …has an irreverent cheeky feel and some real pop plausibility. They must be contenders!” Hope and Anchor, London.

The band, currently unsigned, hope to release the track as a single later in the year.
