Another year, another new chanter in a Scottish accent - well this is encouraging, the Proclaimers were right all along, and Andy Cameron as well I suppose…

Anyway, John Knox Sex Club (or possibly “the…”) have a slow build-up on this song (total 6 mins), with a soft strumming start building to a fairly OTT and deranged crescendo (the lyrical content mystifying but in a good way) - this sounds good, after being name-checked in some Sunday quality tabloid I’m looking forward to a lot more of this in 2010.
