It Dies Today

Lividity (Trustkill)

If this album had to be summed up in two words, it would be power and rawness. The sound positively storms out of the speakers. Where so much music nowadays sounds sterile and pre-programmed with a ready-made target audience in mind, here is an album that does things entirely on its own terms.
This is a real rampage of an album, one which grows in power with every listen. It seems to feed off its own energy and rage to such an extent that one fears the speakers will explode any minute. Anger seethes through every chord. You find yourself cheering and seething along, all at the same time. Sincerity, passion and power have been key words during recording sessions for this disc. Occasionally, this can be a little overwhelming, but, for the most part, you find yourself caught up in the flow of the album. A very good effort.
