This is a weird one. Kicking off with a guitar intro like something from the first Clash album, augmented with that high-up-the-fretboard bass you get from Hooky in Joy Division, it’s a big blustery start. Then the vocals kick in, and with a very - too? - obvious Scots accent, you’re into a middle bit which gets so quiet you think it’s about to stop… and then the guitar kicks in again… it sounds young and raw, and there’s inexperience for sure - but any more guitar intros like that ne and they wil definitely be worth looking out for.
