Hooded Fang
EP

Hooded Fang’s 5 track EP is an excellent showcase of material from the Canadian sextet, with 4 of the 6 members taking a turn at vocals they are clearly a talented, diverse group capable of coming up with fresh sounding material perfect for the summer months.
While mostly comprising of up tempo songs such as poppy opener ‘Land Of Giants’ and the closing track ‘Fall Leaves’ they also display a slower side with the reflective ‘The Pageant’. It is, however, on the female lead song ‘Circles n Blocks’ where Hooded Fang seem to be at their most confident and spirited – perhaps the need to change vocalist should be ended with this girl in mind.
Whilst lyrically lacking in parts the band do redeem credibility with their lighthearted enthusiasm and creative approach to music making.
