Remember Bush? No, not President George, no one could forget that idiot could they? I mean the Scottish rockers that found success in the US in the mid 90s, that along with the likes of Creed, helped make grunge a commercial, radio friendly genre. Thanks guys.

Now Rossdale is back, after years away from the spotlight to be a father, watching patiently as his wife Gwen Stefani conquer the pop world.

Wanderlust Is likely to do the same for Rossdale in the American rock charts and bring him the same kind of success that Daughtry, Lifehouse and all those other ‘rock’ bands have achieved. It’s certainly better than the other bands playing this kind of arena-rock with plenty of variation; the soulful backing vocals of This Is Happiness and the dub-tinged Another Night In The Hills being prime examples but it’s not enough and the likes of The Trouble I’m In and Beauty In The Beast confirm Rossdale’s status as a pioneer of bland rock music. It’ll probably sell millions nonetheless and surely destined to be heard on the likes of American Idol and Smallville.
