Gang Gang Dance have a name that sounds like it was airlifted from the 80′s postpunk boom, and a sound that matches their name. Coming on like an Am-Dram version of early Throwing Muses with added 80′s keyboards and Toyah-esque yelping, the whole thing is an ungodly mess. The closing 11 minute epic’s painful collision of inept dub and stoned ruminations on religion, completed with tuneless parpings on a recorder, is possibly the worst thing I’ve heard this year. Entirely rubbish.
