This is the perfect disc with which to start a day – any day.
It has a real flow and unforced rush to its sound. It starts off slowly but strongly and really commands you to concentrate upon it. You might be coming home from a club, you might be in the traffic going to work or you might be washing up the breakfast dishes.
Whatever, you’ll forget where you are and, thanks to the sounds on offer here, be whisked off to some Island Paradise. Deep dub grooves here create a lovely warm sound and a very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent use of samples (in particular, some way-out and most probably stoned girl who constantly informs you that this music is “the point of greatest intensity”) also give you pause for thought and make you want to listen again immediately, to get what you missed the last time.
