It starts off with lots nice, loud and dirty guitars on ‘For My Fallen Heroes’ and continues as it means to go on. The singer sounds, at all times, like he means it, too. These guys are not doing anything original, for sure, but they are putting their all into every inch of the sound, the drum and bass guitar boys, should come in for particular credit here, too.
They sounds as though they are having a good time when they are doing, it too. Although never to the point where they dissolve too far into themselves and end up losing the audience totally. Lots of bands could learn much from this approach.
That said, it does leave you wondering exactly who the “fallen heroes” of the title are. You’ve got your tunefulness up to level 10, boys, what you need to do now is work on your comprehension. However, there is still much to recommend here.
