(demo)

Glasgow electro-pop shenanigans prevail on the latest demo by this fast rising band. Already known for having the best song titles in popular music, this latest recording upholds that claim with the wonderful ‘Carmen Electro’. Achingly hip, it would be easy to dismiss the band as mere scenesters, but with a neat turn of phrase and savage songs it seems that Dance Lazurus Dance are much more than haircuts and slender jeans. Just one of a host of synth bearing bands coming out of Glasgow just now, if these chaps have their way then disco-punk may be about to make a Lazurus-like comeback.
