Former Husker Du and Sugar singer/guitarist Bob Mould has signed to the Anti- label in the USA, where he joins the likes of Neko Case and Tom Waits. His debut for the label, entitled District Line, comes out on February 5th in the USA.
However, in the UK it’s business as usual - the album will appear on the 11th February on Beggars Banquet. A single ‘The Silence Between Us’ comes out in January 28th, preceded by a solitary UK date at London’s Roundhouse on the 21st.
Helping out on the album is Fugazi’s drummer Brendan Canty, who apeared live on some of Mould’s recent live full-band shows. He has also reworked a tune - ‘Walls in Time’ - originally recorded (but unused) at the time of his debut solo album Workbook.
