Beck returns with his first new material since last year’s uber-pop internet-only single, ‘Timebomb’. Is it anything like that? Well, no not at all but then genre-defying is what we’ve come to expect from Mr. Hansen. I can confirm however that ‘Chemtrails’ is absolutely bloody brilliant! A spacey-chilled out psychedelic vibe, Beck’s vocal gorgeously swoons over the top, somewhere between Pink Floyd and The Zombies. Beck has pulled another masterstroke with this one.
