San Miguel’s continued dominance of the Spanish alternative music scene grows apace with another sponsored series of concerts held over three weeks in November under the ‘Unmissable’ banner.
After Friday night’s excesses, rounded off by Arctic Monkeys, Saturday in the sun at T started off at the T Break stage with Motherwell’s The Lafontaines playing to a decent sized crowd –
Standing, with beer in hand on a sunny summer evening (an almost complete novelty in Scotland) on the opening night of this year’s T in the Park, waiting for the up and coming Glasgow band Twin Atlantic I was struck by the sense of expectation that was emanating from the crowd.
With 40,000 people attending each of the 3 days of the festival, Primavera Sound has become one of the biggest city festivals in Europe.
Primavera Club is the mini city festival held simultaneously in Madrid and Barcelona, allowing artists to appear in both cities on consecutive nights and allowing the fans to enjoy a mixture of legendary acts as well as up and coming Spanish indie bands.
