I can’t decide whether it’s the fact that Metal Book was so catchy, or that my laptop was just slightly too far away to hit ‘next’ that I listened to this about five times back to back last Saturday night
Before the carnage begins, I will say there are some nice elements to the LP. Unfortunately
Aabenbaringen Over Aaskammxen (or “The Revelation Over The Mountain” in English) begins well and has what we all have come to expect from Casiokids – perfectly blended electronica
Lead track ‘Holes’ is quite a rocky, emo sounding song with nasal lyrics and makes The Sleepwalkers sound like they could be doing with a good wake-up call.
Where do I start? ‘A Sufi and A Killer’ is as eclectic as its name suggests. But you wouldn’t expect any less from a rapping yoga teacher from Las Vegas.
