Promising name but really disappointing record – Domestics really go to a great effort to sound very punky, lunky and possibly quunky, but to no avail.
This was another “reunion” gig – the Lobsters last played in full line-up together around 23 years ago, and now they are back.
The premise of RSD is to bring punters into record shops (sorry, it started in America I believe but we still call them ‘shops’, although they are an endangered species).
It was 2002 that James Yorkston spearheaded some kind of folk renaissance, as Domino Records released his debut album, Moving Up Country.
