A lot of Xmas songs this/last year – I blame Bob Dylan and his frankly worrying “album”, surely some kind of sick joke by Bob on the general public. Any, to BCQ:
This is a class act, with a winning, if not reviewed a bit after the event, single – the two tracks (‘Xmas’, and ‘Fluff Girl’, each with a remix on the EP) are deliberately bleepy but also quite traditonal and emotive with singing in tune – whether they have the resources to put this (unlikely now in January!) or some other song into chart action I’m not quite sure, but good luck to them – saw Hardbody (Louise Quinn’s former act) at Perth’s Twa Tams in ’95 or so and Quinn still has a great live voice .
I can’t remember which of their tracks (possibly as previous incartation “Quinn” got to no 1 in Serbia, I didn’t realise Serbia had such good taste. (apologies to citizens of Serbia).
